11/19/07 :: TRIGON CONTINUES ENGINEERING FOR ONEOK PICEANCE BASIN LATERAL

Trigon EPC recently began detailed engineering for ONEOK's Piceance Basin Lateral pipeline. The 150-mile pipeline is designed to transport as much as 100,000 barrels per day of raw natural gas liquids from the Piceance Basin to the 750-mile Overland Pass Pipeline. Overland Pass will extend from Opal, Wyoming to the Mid-Continent natural gas liquids hub in Conway, Kansas.

After completing preliminary engineering, routing, and cost estimating for the project, Trigon's new scope includes detailed engineering, alignment sheets, procurement, environmental permitting, right-of-way, survey and construction management.

The $120 million project was approved by ONEOK and announced publicly at the end of March 2007. At that time, Trigon EPC began intensive field work including survey and right-of-way services. Trigon has also begun consultations with various regulatory agencies regarding the project and continues with engineering and design services.

Construction on the 14-inch pipeline is expected to begin in the summer of 2008 with start-up scheduled for early 2009. Upon completion, the lateral will transport liquids from the Piceance Basin and surrounding areas.
