8/11/05 :: TRIGON EMPLOYEE CREATES ARTWORK TO RAISE MONEY FOR FAMILIES OF THE TRI-STATE CARE FLIGHT 4 TRAGEDY
Durango, CO - Tom Maloney of Trigon's Durango office is now offering a special edition pen and ink illustration of the Care Flight 4 helicopter entitled "Angel of Mercy", in order to raise money for the families of the men who tragically lost their lives when their paramedic helicopter crashed 30 miles west of Durango on June 30, 2005.
Jim Saler, Bill Podmayer, and Scott Hyslop were killed when their helicopter en route from Mercy Regional Medical Center on crashed into a meadow, leaving behind their families, friends, and a legacy of service to the medical community. All proceeds from Maloney's prints will be given to the wives and children of these three men.
