Meeker, CO - Trigon is a proud supporter of community events in the areas that Trigon serves. Trigon is pleased to support the competition at the Meeker Classic, a sheepdog championship trial held each September in Western Colorado. Trigon projects in the Meeker area employ dozens of local residents.

The Meeker Classic offers food, art, and music festivals in addition to 5 days of rigorous sheepdog herding competition. The 2005 event will offer 130 dogs competing for a purse of $20,000 and other awards through a timed performance on a course measuring the dog's natural abilities to effectively herd and control sheep and test the training of each dog. The 2005 Meeker Classic will be held Wednesday, September 7th through Sunday, September 11th.
