7/13/07 :: TRIGON CONTINUES ENTERPRISE/TEPPCO WYOMING EXPANSIONS
Lakewood, CO - Trigon EPC continues engineering, procurement and construction management activities for Enterprise/TEPPCO's Jonah and Pinedale Gas Gathering system expansions.
In addition to the approximately 90 miles of 24" and 36" natural gas pipelines placed in service in 2006, this year's project consists of 6 miles of 20", 24", 30" and 36" pipeline and 2 miles of 10" NGL pipeline. Also included in the 2007 projects are modifications to the inlets of the existing Pioneer Silica Gel and Williams Opal Plants, and the new Pioneer Cryogenic Plant, to increase deliveries and improve flexibility.
In order to support the additional processing capacity in the Opal area, the project also includes four new/upgraded natural gas meter stations and interconnects with interstate pipelines and two new NGL meter stations and interconnects with the MAPL pipeline system.
Throughout 2007, Trigon will continue the job of increasing Enterprise/TEPPCO's natural gas transportation capacity to nearly 2.5 BCFD from the Pinedale and Jonah fields to the southern Wyoming hub at Opal. Once at Opal, natural gas can be processed and transported east or west in a nationwide pipeline transmission system.
