3/24/06 :: TRIGON CONTINUES WORK ON CHEVRON SAN ARDO TO COALINGA HOT OIL PIPELINE
San Ardo, CA - Trigon EPC continues field survey and design work for the Chevron Hot Oil Pipeline Project. This complex project consists of 57 miles of 10" insulated crude oil pipeline between San Ardo and Coalinga in California. The pipeline crosses approximately 11 faults, including the San Andreas Rift Zone. There are approximately six mainline block valves on the pipeline involving access road designs, fence details, and pipe supports for above ground piping. This project also includes 3 major facilities involving crude oil heating units, shipping and charge pumps, launchers/receivers, above ground piping, meters, and tanks. Construction on this project is due to begin in July of 2007.
